Kasapreko Adeiso Factory

5 Star Engineering Limited was engaged on the Kasapreko Company Limited factory at Adeiso, delivering the plumbing and process pipework installation alongside the wider factory set-up works for the new manufacturing plant.

The site was a greenfield industrial development built out in phases. Reinforced concrete column frames and ground beams were cast and the structural steel roof erected over the production and warehouse halls, with blockwork infill, external rendering and roof sheeting following behind. Our teams worked to the main construction programme so that the below-ground and in-slab services were in place before the floor slabs were poured.

The plumbing package covered the full below-slab drainage and water reticulation: excavation and laying of underground runs, pipe stubs and connection points cast into the floor slabs at the positions set out for process and washdown equipment, and the risers and distribution serving the production areas, plant rooms and welfare facilities. Runs were bracketed, tested and capped ahead of the slab pour, with external wall-mounted supports set out for the vertical services.

Factory set-up works included the installation and connection of the stainless steel process and storage tanks, together with their access ladders, guardrails and support plinths. Associated builder's work, service penetrations, hardstanding and external works were carried out to bring the plant to operational condition.
